THE BIG BAND BROTHERS JNR is a 20 piece jazz orchestra which is made up of young musicians all under the age of 18. In January 2017, section leaders from the Big Band Brothers teamed up to coach this new band under the artistic direction of trumpet player Alex Bezzina. Alex’s credits include Funkshone, Blam! Jazz quartet, 6 Day Riot, Vince Dunn Jazz Orchestra, Black Hat Band, Big Band Brothers & Consultant for London Centre of Creative Media.
The aim of BBB JNR is to bring together a number of very talented upcoming musicians to develop their playing skills in a big band style, whilst also exposing them to different styles of music and providing them performing opportunities to a wider audience.
On the 15th of October 2017 The BBB JNR will be sharing some of the material being covered during the course, from small combos up to a Big Band lineup.
The concert is FREE for the public however a donation at the door will be appreciated to support future ventures.
